It must not be forgotten.<BR/><BR/>I'll never forget that in the middle of a Hunt-Helms debate when Helms, apropos of nothing, suddenly said, "Joe Herzenberg and Lightning Brown of Chapel Hill." That's right, it was a sentence fragment, no verb. Just guilt by association.<BR/><BR/>I got to know Joe and Lightening when I was on the board of the local ACLU chapter and am proud to said that we all went to that first Gay Pride march in Durham. <BR/><BR/>And the little American rainbow flag that Lightening gave me remained on my bumper long after his death until my car was totaled.<BR/><BR/>Thanks for the memories and history.George Entenmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03017660584033025626noreply@blogger.com
